I added a section underneath the hero section. Initially in shopify, it didn't show up. I then added it manually from the shopify editor (because apparently the section was created by Liquify, just not added properly).
Then the grid layout was lost (see screenshot with massive image).
I then added the section manually in the code (see screenshot of PR). On that new branch, the section shows and is also displaying the grid layout correctly (see screenshot with grid). Why was this not converted properly with the Liquify conversion? Did I get something wrong?
Hi @caro.line.elsa, it looks like the css was missing here. Sometimes Shopify caches the css and needs some time in the editor. But you can also check it in the preview.
Oh, you're right! Still strangely looks a bit different, but the grid is showing up.
I'm still wondering why it didn't put that section in for me automatically? What I'm seeing now is happening after adding the section manually from Shopify, it didn't just show by default.
Yes. Thats on purpose. We create the json structure of a template if it does not exist. For all the future conversions we dont touch it. Otherwise we would overwrite the content from shopify
