Per product background colour

I'm looking to set a background colour for each product block, using a metafield to store each colour hex. I'd seen a post about using x-bind:style but I'm struggling to figure out how exactly to do it using metafields, is this possible?

Nevermind got it! Using li-attribute:style = "background-color= {{product.metafields.custom.colour}} if anyone else gets stuck on this
