Best way to do a staging site?

Hi @Nicco, i would use aspperate branch which is the live theme with password protection on. You can style the password page how ever you want.

And a second branch where you build your real theme.

but it also works without github. Just upload two themes.

do you mean to use the password page as the splash page?

yes for example.. index page would also work but then some pages may start to index on google etc.

i guess a better question is:

is there a way to make a "secondary" home page that's built in wf, theme exported and all that, uploaded to shopify. then in shopify settings set the NEW home page?

i think for a workaround, i'll setup the new home as a new page template. then when we're ready to push live i'll add the content to the actua index page
